Some people Walk In the Rain, others just get wet
WHAT WE DO
Leave it better than we found it
After 3 decades working in an office I used the 'break' that Covid brought to move to working outside with the aim of improving the health of the countryside as well as my own.

This led me to get involved with a number of different areas
Dry Stone Walling
Hedgelaying
Upland Path Maintenance
Upland Bog Conservation.

WHERE DID THAT NAME COME FROM?
Its better than "ACME Services" isnt it?
A long time ago a friend used the phrase “some people walk in the rain, others just get wet” to describe me. The implication was, and is, that life will not always be sunny and happy and while some people focus are reduced by that, others get on and do.

My friend might have said “some people make lemonade when life gives them lemons”. In which case my company might have been called Lemon Pips.

As in life, business will see its issues. For decades I have been engaged in large and small projects which often hit a pinch point where the money, time or ability seems to run out. At Walk In The Rain we don’t give up, we dig in, regroup and move forward.
