Why call yourself "Walk In The Rain"?

A long time ago a friend used the phrase “some people walk in the rain, others just get wet” to describe me. The implication was, and is, that life will not always be sunny and happy and while some people focus are reduced by that, others get on and do.

My friend might have said “some people make lemonade when life gives them lemons”. In which case my company might have been called Lemon Pips.

As in life, business and IT will see its issues. For decades I have been engaged in large and small projects which at often hit a pinch point where the money, time or ability seems to run out. At Walk In The Rain we don’t give up, we dig in, regroup and move forward.
